Long story short: A-Teaming provides readers with effective ways to apply the crucial life skill that even LinkedIn fails to list. That being, Slinkynomics which simply means unleveling the playing field to permit forward progress.  The bottom line being, everyone wants to raise their end while at the same time making sure to protect it.

And as most things in life are rigged, the best way to deal with the short end of the stick (or worse) is to accept the fact that unconventional warfare, business and life itself are one and the same.

Accordingly, A-Teaming is peppered with references to popular, above ground, underground and cyberculture. Suffice it to say the book is stuffed to the gills with fundamental military and peace movement maxims and life science bon mots which are juxtaposed with situations and familiar points of reference to insure the text stays grounded to the circumstances and interests of a diverse readership. Pictures and graphics? Plenty. And they're not the usual tripe associated with most business, military and self-help texts.

As for the intended audience, A-Teaming is laid out "buffet style" in order to insure a "global reach" by appealing to both sexes, domestic and foreign lands, young and old, boomers and Gen X'ers, straights, gays and cross-dressers, left wing, greens and those to the right (but short of any neo-Nazi stuff). It's for those in business, stuck in business, angry at business, going out of business and or trying to deal with any variation thereto. It's also for folks in school, not in school, those with a GED an MBA or downloads of every episode of The Apprentice. There is pro-military and anti-military, some parts are funny, other parts are sad. And a section or two might make the reader mad, inspired, smarter or just point out how to avoid dumb and dumber. If nothing else, A-Teaming is designed to entertain.

What follows are some of the many Zippo lighters that were employed to illuminate, enliven and otherwise "add value" to A-Teaming. And yes, it all ties back to Special Forces doctrine past, present and future.
